I enjoyed Nav Logan's foray into fantasy. Good imagination and characterisation. I particularly liked Cull and the Beggar King as a concept. Cull was a slightly nonchalant figure, but with a powerful presence. The other characters blend well and make for an interesting story.
Nicely written and the plot comes together for a fast action ending. Some neat ideas and I liked the shape shifting and the way that was used. Good début novel.
