The King's Deception - Steve Berry

This is one for fans of the Da Vinci Code. Very clever historical twist that leaves you wondering ...did this happen for real. And the beauty of the tale is that you cannot be certain. With some background evidence provided by Bram Stocker of Dracula fame, it adds a sense of reality to this version of history. Elizabethan England - or was it??

The tale hops nicely between characters and maintains its sense of intrigue and excitement. It swaps between the present and hints of the past very aptly. Well worth a read. A little clunky at times but overall a good book.
