Fantasy Dreams - Castles
This is Rochester Castle. It was actually part destroyed when King John's forces assaulted it - some barons had taken refuge there. It's interesting to know some of the history of a castle. The left hand tower of the keep was destroyed and replaced with a round tower, whereas the others are square.

That is a neat piece of history about that castle. A friend sent me some books with lots of pictures of castles, but the history of the castles pictures came in short and shorter. {chuckle, Smile}
